AEM Intake is developing a intake kit for the 2020 Toyota GR Supra sports car. The kit is not expected until early 2020, but AEM had a preview of it at SEMA 2019.
The 2020 Toyota GR Supra
AEM designs each system to be a fully integrated element of the engine bay. A cold air intake system relocates the filter outside of the engine compartment to deliver cool air inlet temperatures. Cooler air carries more oxygen, which translates into a more intense explosion in the combustion chamber to create more horsepower and torque.
The upcoming intake kit for the 2020 Toyota GR Supra includes a fully enclosed airbox and uses an AEM non-oiled synthetic media filter. Still in the R&D phase of development, AEM had a 3D-printed model of the upcoming kit on display at SEMA 2019. Here’s the video:

Founded in 1987 by John Concialdi and Bob Sullivan as a tuning performance shop, California-based AEM Induction Systems has been a leader in the development of precision-tuned induction systems. The company developed one of the first packaged air induction systems. Today, AEM is still the one to beat.
