When the all-new Ford GT supercar launched, it was highly received by industry experts and enthusiasts alike. It’s not your typical car from Ford, so the buying process shouldn’t be, either. The standard 2017 Ford GT is offered in eight exterior colors: Frozen White, Shadow Black, Ingot Silver, Liquid Grey, Liquid Blue, Liquid Red, Triple Yellow, and Matte Black. But when you want to stand out from the crowd with your Ford GT, those colors are too basic.
According to Ford Authority, customers will have the option to choose any exterior paint color they want, as long as they can fork over the $30,000 that goes along with the customization. So how did Ford Authority even hear about these custom-painted Ford GTs? An Arkansas dealer, Elite Autos LLC, posted to their Facebook page a bunch of models with custom-ordered colors. Elite Autos shared that, yes, custom paint jobs are possible, but that the automaker would be looking at quite a pretty penny to do it. But when you consider the price for one of these bad boys is almost half a million dollars, that $30K price is almost negligible.
