Edelbrock’s AVS2 Series is the next generation in performance carburetors. The product employs annular flow primary boosters with new calibration for improved off-idle and cruising performance.
The annular flow booster design delivers improved fuel atomization to eliminate flat spots that may be encountered when the carburetor transitions from idle to full throttle. Each booster employs eight equally spaced orifices to improve fuel metering from idle to the main circuit.
This improved flow metering makes the carburetor ideal for a wide variety of small-block and big-block engines with either dual- or single-plane intake manifolds. The AVS2 includes both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance. The best part is that these new carburetors feature the benefits of a Thunder Series AVS but have the low price of a Performer Series carburetor!
