Sparta Brakes (aka Sparta Evolution) just dropped its new line of entry level, OE equivalent brake rotors known as the GPe range.
Designed to replicate the OE product as closely as possible, Sparta incorporates a straight vane cooling design and precise final machining to match the factory product dimensions. That way you get a simple, trouble-free installation. Sparta also improves the durability over the original rotors by casting the GPe rotors from their proprietary GX3.0 iron alloy. Secondly, they then coat the non-friction areas with a high temp paint to reduce surface corrosion. The rotors share much of their design attributes with Sparta’s more popular street performance rotors, the GP1. However, the GPe line comes plain faced. That means with no slotting, to keep costs down and to extend pad wear over slotted designs.
