Summit Racing Direct-Fit AutoFuse Restoration Dash Harnesses let you convert your vintage Camaro, Chevelle, or Chevy/GMC truck from the original glass-style fuse block to a modern ATO-type fuse block. No cutting, modifying, or altering is required—just remove the old harness and plug in the new AutoFuse harness. Made in the USA, the harnesses have circuits for factory-installed equipment and are compatible with the other wiring harnesses in your vehicle, too.
Features include:
• Pre-terminated leads with factory-style connectors
• Color-coded XLPE-type GXL wire is far more heat-resistant than the original PVC type GPT wire
• Harnesses are wrapped with the correct non-adhesive or cloth-woven tape for a factory appearance
• Dip-soldered terminals where applicable to limit resistance loss
Summit Racing Direct-Fit AutoFuse Restoration Dash Harnesses also have accessory ports to add power circuits for things like electric fans, ignition boxes, and gauges.
The fuses and flashers are not included—you will need the appropriate Fuse and Flasher Kit to complete the harness installation. If you want to use the accessory ports in the fuse block, you’ll need one of these Optional Fuse and Terminal Kits.
Summit Racing Direct-Fit AutoFuse Restoration Dash Harnesses are available for these vehicles:
• 1968-69 Camaro
• 1968-72 Chevelle
• 1947-49 and 1954-59 GM pickup
• 1967-78 C- and K-series pickup, Suburban, Blazer
We also have these upgrades for your Summit Racing Direct-Fit AutoFuse Restoration dash harness:
The 6-Way Accessory Fuse Block Kit lets you add more fused circuits to the fuse block. It has two six-terminal strips—one for accessories that use 10- and 12-gauge wire and one for accessories that use 14- through 18-gauge wire.
The 11-Way Connector and Terminal Kit lets you add optional fuse blocks, relay connectors, and other accessories to your dash harness.
The Front Fuse Block Kit has terminals and connectors that plug into the accessory ports in the dash harness fuse block. The kit has terminals for 10-, 12-, 14,- and 18-gauge wire, and 14 colored-indexed connectors.
