The new line of VDO Radios from Continental represent a new generation of vehicle sound systems that come with a heritage of more than 80 years of sound quality and a strong reputation for excellence in the world of infotainment. Continental is the manufacturer and supplier of VDO Radios as well as a wide variety of VDO OE-engineered replacement parts and instrumentation for the custom-car market.
VDO Radios feature a simple and clear design, with large buttons and knobs with rubber grips. The radios’ robust design and rugged construction makes them ideal for every type of application. In addition to excellent performance and high quality, ease of use was a key priority in the design of this new line of radios. Their intuitive interface provides straightforward access to a sophisticated range of functions. Models are available for both 12V and 24V vehicle applications. All of the radios are rugged enough to handle vibration levels of 2.7 g.
All VDO Radios feature an AUX input for connecting to a music player or smartphone, front-panel USB 2.0 input, integrated microphone, dimmable displays, and FM radio with RDS and traffic alerts. A high-power internal amplifier and four preset equalizer settings—along with individual treble, bass, and loudness controls—allow for sophisticated EQ control. All models can play both MP3 and WMAs and are available with or without Bluetooth®. Bluetooth-equipped models have the ability to pair up to five phones at once.

Get Speakers and an Antenna to Match
Complementing the VDO radio portfolio, Continental also offers VDO 100-mm and 130-mm speakers. These two-way coaxial speakers are available with white or black grilles and have mounting kits included. The speakers are designed to deliver excellent and consistently dynamic sound in both indoor and outdoor environments. The two-way speakers have each speaker delivering a separate frequency range for perfect sound quality.
A wide range of antennas is also available for the new radio line, offering high performance and mounting versatility. The antenna connectors are specifically designed for these VDO radios to optimize reception quality.
